Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Services I liaise with clubs, faculties, Deans, vendors and businesses when reviewing and processing event proposals.

 

Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with USC, Western University and Insurer’s best practices and policies when reviewing event proposals from clubs and faculty councils


• Mitigate risk involved in event approvals by liaising with students, businesses and Western Deans


• Avoidance of legal challenges by understanding current best practices and policies, enforcing regulations and recommending new procedures


• Maintenance of up-to-date records of venues/ vendors list, certificates of insurance, verifiers
