Role Overview

I provide strategic and tactical planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of information and technology for the USC, ensuring the continuous delivery and operation of our systems.

Accountabilities

• Provide guidance and leadership on the selection, implementation and maintenance of the USC information systems by evaluating and recommending solutions that advance our mission or address operational needs.


• Effectively plan and manage the sustainable replenishment of information technology capital resources at the USC.


• Ensure the proper resources, procedures and training are in place to allow for the efficient and responsive use of technology.


• Enable effective technological platforms for communication and discussion (i.e. web, social media) both internally and externally.


• Plan and direct the work of IT support professionals, including staff, interns, vendors and contractors.
